Programme

The Buddhist Youth Conference 2008 was held on 23 August 2008 at the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre. As a full-day event, there were two keynote addresses and four forums held throughout the day. There were also networking sessions for participants to interact with one another.

The objectives of the conference are:

  • To share experience and expertise in organising youth activities in Singapore.
  • To promote activism amongst Buddhist youth leaders in Singapore.
  • To promote networking amongst Buddhist youth leaders in Singapore.

Registration fee is S$10.

The project team is made up of young Buddhists from various professions and Buddhist backgrounds. Many had been participating in Buddhist propagation activities as organisers and leaders.
